There are fireworks going off outside right now. Why?

Yesterday I went to see the movie The DaVinci Code and then I went to see an actual DaVinci painting. This one right here. So I guess there are only six places in the world where you can see a DaVinci and Krakow is one of them. Score another point for Krakow! There were no clues hidden in it that I could find to reveal to me some sort of code... a Davinci code some would say. Anyways, yesterday and today all of the museums were free and open until 2am, so I took advantage of the freeness and openness, although is did cost me over an hour of standing in the rain to get in. Basically, it was all worth it to see this:

Dragons and Castles and Bears oh my!

I live in a city with a castle that has a dragon's lair. Pretty cool, if I do say so myself. And I do. This is Wawel Castle and the Cathedral, the coronation site of Poland's monarchs (now many of them are buried in there.)
